The Casa Agrícola Levada is located within the city limits of Vila Real de Tras-os-Montes. With the advantage of being inserted in a city, is the parent of a farm of 10 hectares, which provides peace and tranquility one s own field. The house was built in 1922 by Joaquim Francisco Costa Lobo, at the time governor of the province of Mozambique and the Mayor of Vila Real and the design of the house is awarded to Raul Uno, due to its typical Portuguese architecture. There are about eight years, Albano Costa Lobo came to live in this house with the idea of returning to explore agriculture, however abandoned at the time of his father. The fifth had been for some years a system of tenancy, and the house uninhabited for thirty years. There have been some agricultural experiments, greenhouses, gardens, and a creation of lambs, with the collaboration of the University of Tras-os-Montes. When, for various reasons, these occupations have not quite right, the owner found solutions for other types of agriculture, planting trees, almond, walnut and hazelnut, to obtain dried fruits and other parts watered farm, apple trees were planted, pear, cherry, currants and blueberries, used in the home, and where there are jams and spirits that are consumed by guests, in addition to producing delicious honey. Tourism housing emerged however, as an alternative to farming, which was well done. Another nice feature of the house is the proximity of the river Corgo, which allows fishing enthusiasts long hours of quiet, and barbels expecting Escalos.
