The views from the house are intensely relaxing to behold, especially from its spacious furnished terrace, and they uninterruptedly follow all points of the compass. After a busy renovation period, this property is available again for holidays: the house, and the fully fenced-in grounds, are now a delight, and this is an ideal holiday abode for an extended family with young children. This country house offers a total of 14 rooms, as well as a garden and parking..[room-description]The ground floor offers a hallway, a guest WC with a washing machine, a sitting room with an open fireplace, a kitchen/diner with a dishwasher, a hob, an oven and a fridge/freezer. It is a land of dark green wooded slopes and thousands of acres of silvery-green olive trees that occupy the flatter areas. Planted proudly amongst this idyllic scenery, the arches and pale yellow plasterwork of this substantial house are visible for miles. Nearby stands Regello, amid its famous olive groves with some streets still retaining their medieval arcades. The 12th century Romanesque church of San Pietro a Cascia is well worth a visit. Guests will also find banks, chemists and a good variety of food shops in the town. Access to the main A1 autostrada is 10 km away, offering good, rapid access to Florence (45 minutes' drive), Arezzo, Montepulciano, and even Rome.[/location][getting-to-the-hotel]Guests arriving from either of Rome's airports should follow the green motorway signs for Firenze and the A1 Autostrada. From Milan/Bologna follow the A1 Autostrada south towards Firenze/Roma. From Pisa Airport follow the blue motorway signs for Firenze. Exit at Scandicci and follow the green motorway signs for Firenze/Roma. Collect a ticket at the toll booth and follow the A1 Autostrada south in the direction of Rome. All drivers: exit the A1 motorway at Incisa. After the toll booth, turn left for Figline Valdarno. After around 1 km, guests will reach the town of Incisa Valdarno. Continue straight, passing through 3 sets of traffic lights and heading for Arezzo. Pass through the town of Figline Valdarno. Continue through another 4 sets of traffic lights and at the roundabout turn left for Matassino/Pian Di Sco. Follow this road (without deviation), going across the bridge over the river Arno, and go straight on at the roundabout. At the end of the road turn left and continue over a 2nd bridge, then turn immediately right towards Pian Di Sco/Vaggio. On arrival at Vaggio, turn right over the bridge towards Faella/Canova. After around 1 km turn left towards Canova. Follow this narrow road up, and after around 2.5 km is the small hamlet of Canova. At the 1st turning (immediately before the bridge and the 30 km/hour sign), turn left. After a few hundred metres it becomes an unpaved road. At the fork junction, bear left, following the yellow sign for Soggiorno Don Bosco. Continue on until the driveway on the right with a gate No. 71.[/getting-to-the-hotel]
